This course, aimed at dental professionals, will focus on:
- the use, benefits, limitations and interpretation of CBCT radiography
- the radiation protection principles that apply with respect to the exposure of patients, staff and members of the public
- the application of the relevant radiation safety legislation to this technique
- optimisation of the risk from radiation exposure and diagnostic benefit of each dental CBCT examination, both in terms of image generation and interpretation.
