On Monday 27th February we are pleased to welcome Mr Shahzada Ahmed to deliver the session CBCT for Paranasal  Sinuses at our Birmingham Branch. Mr Ahmed, Consultant ENT and Skull Base Surgeon will discuss the relevance and importance of CBCT in this area and the benefit it has to both you and your patients. ENT surgeons will learn about the referal criteria for ENT CBCT, such as FESS studies, while maxillofacial and oral surgeons and dentists will learn more about the diseased maxillary sinus.

Mr Ahmed graduated from The University of Birmingham Medical School and obtained Higher Surgical Training in hospitals in the West Midlands. He undertook advanced training in sinus and nasal surgery in South Africa, America, Germany and Switzerland and then spent a year on an advanced Rhinology fellowship with world renowned surgeons at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham. He was appointed as Consultant ENT and Skull Base Surgeon at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust in 2010.

Mr Ahmed has published extensively in the field of otolaryngology. We have asked him to talk to us specifically about is clinical experience using CBCT imaging for imaging paranasal sinuses. His lecture promises to be informative to fellow ENT practitioners but also maxillofacial surgeons, GPs and dentists.

The cost of the event is £60 (£30 for regular Cavendish Imaging referrers).
